WoW Quest Helpers are in game addons that you simply put into your warcraft Interface/Addons directory, restart wow, and they will show you exactly where to go for the quests you're on (determining which is the fastest way to go).
There's a few different Quest Helper Addons available. There's a the most popular Free one called "WoW Quest Helper."
There's also the one we recommend highly called Dugi's Ultimate WoW Guide.
Now, you might wonder, why would we even tell people to pay for one if you can get one free?
First, the free one isn't as accurate as Dugi's, in fact sometimes you'll find yourself sitting on the area it wants you to go but there's nothing there. And the routes aren't the best. Sometimes it wants you to fly somewhere when you can get another quest in the area and do it.
Secondly, we used to tell people to use the free one but we got blasted with people telling us it made the game run so slow they couldn't play it. This obviously is a problem if you don't have the latest gaming machine and a lot of RAM it may slow down your PC.
Thirdly, and the most annoying part was you couldn't switch the quest order. So say I have 10 quests in the area, which sometimes I didn't want to do a certain quest (like to fly somewhere else to talk to an NPC) I couldn't rearrange them to have it tell me where to go for the next quest, which was really annoying to me, I would have to drop the quest.
Conclusion: Once you play WoW with a quest helper you will probably never play it again without one because it increases your leveling speed dramaticall and removes so many parts of the game that are tedious and annoying.
